i was both alarmed and confused this evening, as i wandered down adelaide street towards my bus stop after work....they took down all the bus stop signs. there would be 30+ (this conclusion was decided by the fact my bus stop is number thirty something) bus stop signs and they were ALL gone.
What does this mean? would my bus still know when to stop. Will the buses be running at regular intervals, or will you just have to guess and run out and stop your bus when you see it? All of this was too much for me and considering i probably had twenty minutes till i bus showed up, (if i was lucky) i decided to walk home.
after crossing the street several times - i couldnt figure out which side had the least weirdos tonight - i was again alarmed at the fact that there were 3 police cars parked outside the train station, not more than 200m from the police station. This was alarming because A) there was no sign of the drivers of the cars B) its highly unlikely the cops would opt to park on the other side and down the road from their police station C) there were not as many weirdos as usual about and D) there was no sign of trouble...anyway.
